TAB Express International (TAB stands for the names of the original owners, Tony And Bob) started as a FBO with the plan of becoming a flight school training student pilots to become qualified as airline pilots for TAB Express Airlines. Express international flew King Airs and used simulators. TAB Express Airline were authorized to become an "Essential Air Service" by the state of Florida to start on-demand service within the state of Florida flying Beech 1900. Their source of student financing was Key Bank and when that bank stop funding students, the airline ceased operation on June 15, 2005.
